About me
I started working on the "Painting Machine" in 2014, in my free time. I was interested in the possibility of controlling the application of acrylic color on the canvas starting from data.
I was wondering: can I represent earthquakes or hurricanes on a canvas as if it were a google map? If I collect 1000 tweets (georeferenced) and represent them with a drop of acrylic color, what is the result?
I studied what tools could be useful to me, I learned a lot about CNCs, 3D printers, software, firmware.
In the end, a mix between a 3D printer and a Plotter came out.
